If you have seen my live show with any kind of frequency, then you have surely seen me tell my story about how my grandma got me started with music by buying me a Casio keyboard… and then i’ll “play” the demo song.
After my show at Lestats last night, Crunchy person Jerry sent me a link to this youtube video that someone posted with the exact keyboard in which I speak of with the demo song!

This is a continuation of a show Aaron Irwin, Joseph Naval and I did awhile ago. Episode #316 of Yourself Presents will air on Cox channel 23 (North Cox 18) and Time Warner channel 19 at 8PM on Friday, June 11 & June 18.
Everyone seems to really like my gardening glove style and Joe’s action on the sampler fader.
It was great! I had a show at Fiesta De Los Penasquitos… there were a couple of high school comedians introducing me with corny jokes. Then I see my childhood friend Willy Santos with a megaphone attached to his hip. We had fun dialogue- me with the stage PA system talking to him with his megaphone. Then coincidentally, my percussionist Aaron Irwin was playing on the same stage after me (we had no idea!)… so he joined me for my last few songs!
Anyhow, check out these two videos that I pulled from Willy’s website (www.willysantos.com). Willy is a world famous professional skateboarder. He has two skate shops in the San Diego area called Willy’s Workshop. Check them out sometime, they have some tight gear.
New pictures have been posted in the gallery area of CrunchySandwich.com. These are from our art show reception during the San Diego Asian Film Festival- Common Ground
You can hear the crackle of the sound system and my guitar not agreeing somehow… Then the guitar cuts out completely. The sound guys were on it right away and put a mic in front of it. This is a fairly new song that I have not released yet.
